Sentiment (Menes x Sentochka)

Sentiment is a daughter of the noted straight Russian sire Menes, whose offspring have been successful in North America and nothing short of phenomenal in their influence in Europe. His offspring include Vympel, named the "Black Prince of Tersk", as well as former Tersk director Alexander Ponomarev's "Horse of the Century" Balaton, himself the sire of Europe's "King" Kubinec.

Sentiment's dam Sentochka is a daughter of *Salon, founder of his own North American dynasty through sons like *Muscat, *Moment, *Namiet, Ponomarev, and Solstice. Sentochka's dam *Sportsmenka was one of the earliest Russian imports to the US and the foundation mare for Sport Arabians.

We have long admired Menes breeding and are extremely grateful to Sport Arabians for allowing us to lease Sentiment, who brings not only the strength of her sireline but the added type of her maternal grandsire and a powerful foundation damline. She has been confirmed in foal to *Nefison for September, 2008.
